Average Auto Loan Rates The average rates for New Auto Loans shown on your Web page do not seem to jive with the actual rates shown in the listing of lenders. The overwhelming majority of rates shown by lender are in the 8.25 to 9.5% range, yet the averages are all above 9%. Why the apparent discrepancy? No discrepancy at all... in the text we should mention that these are among the better/best offered rates we found in our national survey. They should be better than the average. |
