Historical Mortgage Rates
and Historical ARM Index Rates

HSH Associates has surveyed lenders and produced mortgage statistics for over 30 years. HSH's Fixed-Rate Mortgage Indicator (FRMI) -- the longest series of street-level pricing available -- includes mortgages of all sizes, including conforming, "expanded conforming," and jumbo. Separate statistical series for conforming and jumbo loans are available to HSH clients.

We provide historical ARM index rates as a convenience. If you have an Adjustable Rate Mortgage, your ARM is tied to an index which governs changes in your loan's interest rate and payments. Use these ARM indexes with our ARM Check Kit to verify the interest rate adjustments on most types of ARMs. Get the most current values of many of these indexes.

Why is the HSH Data Different?

Unlike other sources, these statistics derive from our objective, editorial survey of lenders across the U.S. that was conducted from 1986 to 2016.

HSH's statistics have long been used by top Wall Street firms, secondary marketers including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, media coast to coast, and government agencies.

You may display the HSH rates data on your websites, provided that you (a) display the data as-is and without any modifications, (b) attribute the data to HSH.com as the source, and (c) include a link to HSH.com. We reserve the right to require you to remove the data and link at any time in the event that we determine that your use damages or may damage our reputation.
